The act became law in Florida September 2005 . It requires all vendors and individuals who contract with district school boards and as a result are given access to school grounds when students are present to be fingerprinted and undergo a criminal background screening. Those individuals who are found to have committed crimes of "moral turpitude" must be denied access to school grounds.
CONTEST OFFICIALS ARE NOT EXEMPT FROM THE LAW'S PROVISIONS.
MUST be done through the Palm Beach County School Board by everyone, including police officers, FBI, etc. School Board employees do this when hired and are not required to do again if they officiate.
Bring PHOTO ID and Social Security card with $47 money order made out to PBC School Board. Only MONEY ORDERS are accepted for payment.
On provided paperwork to be filled out, be sure to list all and any violations, including traffic violations. Minor violations will not prohibit you from working but any omissions possibly could.
Badge is good for 5 years.
